Puslinch Draft Comprehensive Zoning By-law – Have Your Say!
The Township has undertaken a review of its Comprehensive Zoning By-law in order
to conform to Provincial legislation and the Wellington County Official Plan, and to
establish improved development parameters that will help create a more
attractive, livable, and prosperous community. A Preliminary Draft Zoning By-law
and associated mapping is now available for review at www.puslinch.ca
PROPOSED CHANGES COULD AFFECT YOUR PROPERTY!
A number of proposed changes could affect your property. For example:
- NEW ZONES! New zones are proposed for properties in the Urban Centres
of Aberfoyle and Morriston, and other key areas of the Township. New
zones will replace existing zoning in order to better implement the County’s
Official Plan. - UPDATED NATURAL ENVIRONMENT MAPPING! Mapping of protected
environmental areas and hazard areas has been updated to reflect
natural heritage and flood plain mapping from the County and local
Conservation Authorities. - SITE SPECIFIC UPDATES! Township staff have reviewed hundreds of site
specific provisions, which have been adopted over the past 30 years. To
simplify the By-law, some site specific provisions will be removed/modified.
