A Celebration of Life: Colleen Sutton
SUTTON, Colleen Marie (nee McDonough) – Of Morriston, passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington on Tuesday, June 27, 2017, in her 65th year. Beloved wife and best friend of Dave. Loved mother of Vicki (Steve) Marshall, Wendi (Aaron) Marshall and Eric (Natalie Van der Maaden) Sutton. Cherished Gramma of Owen, Tyler, Hannah and Mckinley. Daughter of the late Murray and Marie McDonough, and daughter-in-law of Audrey Sutton and the late George Sutton. Will be fondly remembered by her two sisters Sharon (Bert) Hill, Linda (the late Ron) Wilson, her brother Tom (Linda) McDonough, her siblings-in-law Joan (Larry) Schwenker, Peggy (the late Don) McInnis, Helen (Rob) Miller, Glenn (Mary Beth) Sutton, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Colleen was a longtime employee of the Township of Puslinch. Colleen was passionate about family, friends, baseball and car racing. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
Friends will be received at the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph on Sunday, July 2 from 1-4 and 7-9 p.m. and at the Puslinch Community Centre, 23 Brock Rd. S. on Monday, July 3 from 1-2 p.m. A Celebration of Colleen’s Life will be held at the Puslinch Community Centre on Monday, July 3 at 2 p.m.
Memorial contributions to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital (Oncology Department) or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Colleen M. Sutton in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest, University of Guelph Arboretum. Dedication service, Sunday, September 17, 2017 at 2:30 pm.
