A Big THANK-YOU To Andrew and Debbie Carter of Puslinch
I’m not sure if you’re able to publish a ‘thank you’ note! I really hope you are able to because I believe this couple deserves some recognition. Here is my story:
On Sunday February 5, 2017, my sister and I were on our way home from Windsor. We were about 20 minutes away from home (Kitchener) when all of a sudden, my car spun out of control on a very slushy/snow-filled road. Up until that point – our weekend had been perfect! My car spun and spun, eventually landing in a ditch. I was in a state of utter shock and disbelief. How could this have happened to us? We were so close to home!
People were kind enough to slow down and ask if we were okay. One gentleman even called a tow truck for us (thank you). But one couple went above and beyond. Not only did they ask if we were okay, they were kind enough to let my sister and I wait in their warm car until the tow truck arrived (about 45 minutes later). They calmed our nerves and put us at ease. I do believe this couple was heaven sent and I don’t know what we would have done without them.
Andrew and Debbie Carter of Puslinch, your random act of kindness has left me in awe. I realize the odds of you two seeing this message may be slim but I wanted to thank you for being at the right place, at the right time. I will never forget what the two of your did for my sister and I. And I will certainly pay it forward. Wishing you both only the best.
