Melt in Your Mouth Christmas Shortbread Cookies
It’s Christmastime!
LET’S BAKE Melt in Your Mouth Shortbread Cookies
Because they are whipped with a beater, these shortbread cookies have a different texture than the usual. They are very light and melt in your mouth. Try them this year.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. of butter
- 1 cup of sifted icing sugar
- 3 ½ cups of sifted flour
- 1 tsp. of vanilla
Directions:
- Whip butter until fluffy
- Slowly add icing sugar and continue whipping with each addition
- Gradually add the flour and continue whipping with each addition
- Add vanilla
- Beat 3 minutes
- Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet
- Bake at 325-350 degrees until light brown
