Mother of Alison McLean Redpath (Brian) of Guelph and Andrew Ian Alexander McLean of Puslinch Ontario. Proudest Grandma of granddaughter Cameron Alexandra Redpath. She was the daughter of the late George (1994) and Iris Shore (1977). Sister of Robert Shore (2016) and sister-in-law Sally Verlaan (2021) of Burlington and Margaret Clack of Waterdown. Daughter-in-law of the late Donald (1978) and Maude (1992) McLean. She will be sadly missed by Debbie Seeley, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Mary was a no nonsense, “take me as you see me” kind of person who only wanted to be seen as a loving and caring mother, who was honest and generous. She gave to the church, and donated time and money to the community for judging events in the annual Puslinch Fall Fair. She enjoyed live music, book club, games of scrabble, and time with family. She created art, crafts, and poetry, and tried to face the world with a smile despite enduring countless health challenges over the years. Her stamina was challenged many times, but her endurance lasted longer than what most expected and she will be missed.
Interment will be held at Crown Cemetery on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 1:00 pm.
