Retired OPP No Longer Allowed To Serve On Wellington County Police Services Board
New policing and community safety regulations proposed by the province will transform the current makeup of the county’s police services board by the spring.
This follows an announcement from County Coun. Earl Campbell during the first police services board meeting of the year where he explained changes to the province’s Community Safety and Policing Act (CSPA) will mean two members; Walter Trachsel and Ron Faulkner, are no longer able to sit on the board.
