Township Of Puslinch Announces Parks Revitalization Projects
The Township of Puslinch is thrilled to announce the commencement of construction for two exciting parks revitalization projects aimed at enhancing the quality of life for residents and promoting outdoor recreation in our community. These projects reflect the Township’s commitment to creating and maintaining public spaces that foster community engagement and well-being.
The two parks set to undergo improvements are the Puslinch Community Centre Park and Boreham Park. These projects have been carefully planned and designed with valuable input from community members, ensuring that the new park spaces reflect the needs of the Township.
The highlights of the works to be undertaken at the Puslinch Community Centre Park include replacement of the tennis court surface and netting, installation of a new play structure with the donated structure remaining, installation of new bleachers and shade structures and the expansion of the parking lot to the rear of the Puslinch Community Centre Park. Boreham Park will be revitalized with a new play structure and shade structure for the community’s enjoyment.
Construction is set to commence mid June and with different aspects of the projects finishing at varying times. During this period, at the Puslinch Community Centre Park, the tennis courts, small soccer field, playground area, area around the horse paddock, and rear parking lot will be closed for the duration of the construction period. The Township kindly requests the cooperation and patience of residents and visitors as staff and the contractors work diligently to transform these spaces for the betterment of our community.
“With the commencement of upgrades at the Puslinch Community Centre Park and Boreham Park, we are excited to see parents and children in our community get out and be active.” commented Mayor Seeley. “These playgrounds and park improvements are extremely important to the communities they serve and will offer a much needed recreation space for our local sports communities.”
The Township invites residents, local businesses, and community organizations to stay engaged throughout the revitalization process.
