Black Legged Deer Ticks Still Active In Puslinch

Even though days are getting colder, I pulled this tick of one of my cats a couple days ago. Unfortunately, it appears to be a black legged deer tick, which is the kind that can potentially carry Lyme’s Disease.

Be sure to take precautions if you are out in the woods or grasses around the township. Inspect yourself and your pets for ticks every day.
