Wellington County Reducing Ride Share Vehicles After Slow Start
Ride Well saw just under 400 total rides in final three months of 2019
Wellington County is reducing the number of vehicles it has on the road for its ride share pilot program after a slow start.
According to a report presented to the county council last month, it has been proposed the number of hours Ride Well vehicles are on the road go down by more than a quarter, from 210 vehicle hours per week to 155.
Under the revised schedule, there would be two vehicles on the road from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m., and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., down from four.
