A Celebration Of Life: Margaret Young
Margaret passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 13 at Milton District Hospital in her one hundredth year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Rev. F. Norman Young (2005) and was the last surviving family member of her generation. Margaret grew up in the Presbyterian Church and enjoyed being part of several congregations including Knox Georgetown, Duff’s, Puslinch, St. Andrew’s, Guelph and Knox Milton. She was a proud westerner who was born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on September 27, 1919. She will be remembered for her kindness to others and her gentle spirit. Margaret is lovingly remembered by her son Donald (Karen) and daughters Beth (Nigel) and Eileen. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Stephanie (Richard), Joanne (Jahmin), Daniel, Lauren and Tim and her great grandchildren Caitlyn, Malachi, Adelaide and Lillian.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Knox Presbyterian Church in Milton on Tuesday, April 23 at 12:00 p.m. with a visitation prior to the service at 11:00 a.m. Special thanks to the staff in the Complex Transitional Care unit at Milton District Hospital and to Dr. Watada for his care and support especially over the last few months.
