Need An Energy Boost?
This is a brutal winter and we are weary of the bad weather. We need an energy boost. Don’t reach for those caffeinated drinks. Instead, let’s try a tasty treat, that will give us real energy, by nourishing our bodies.
Let’s make: Energy Balls
Ingredients:
- 1 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
- ¼ CUP HONEY
- 2 TSP. VANILLA
- 1½ CUPS ROLLED OATS
- 1/3 CUP COCONUT
- 1/3 CUP CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- ¼ CUP NUTS OR RAISINS
Preparation:
- 1. Mix all ingredients together in large bowl
- 2. Roll into small balls
- 3. Place on cookie sheet
- 4. Refrigerate until ready to snack
Easy to make and good for us.
