A Celebration Of Life: Margaret Paddock

Margaret Jean (Dunn) Paddock

Margaret Jean (Dunn) Paddock passed peacefully on Wednesday July 17, 2024, after a lengthy journey with Alzheimer’s.

Beloved wife of the late Stewart Paddock (2020). Loving mother of Eleanor (Terry), Gwen (Ron), and Carol. Much loved grandma of Emily and Andrew. Lovingly remembered by brother Ken (Bonnie) Dunn and in-laws Bob and Jean Paddock and Coral Booth.

Marg was born in February 1934 and grew up on the family farm in Kirkwall. Her parents, Bill and Hazel Dunn, were very industrious farmers and committed to their church and broader community – a spirit they instilled in their family.

Marrying Stewart and moving to the Paddock family farm in Puslinch – Marg and Stewart raised their family – stressing the value of hard work, family and friends.

Marg and Stewart loved to entertain and were known for their welcoming and joyful dinner table – always ending with a piece of pie or cake.

Words cannot express how wonderful Marg’s committed friends, Linda, Allison, Grace and granddaughter Emily, were in their compassionate care of mom. We are deeply grateful to them for contributing to mom’s health and well being. Also, a heartfelt thanks to the staff at Saint Luke’s Place.

Arrangements entrusted to Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held in the fall – details to be announced.
