List of upcoming events – mark your calendars
Wednesday April 3 -7pm YOUR TOWN RISING -Puslinch Community Centre The presenters: LESLIE FOURNIER / GREGG MCLACHLAN will take walking tours of the downtown areas of Morriston and Aberfoyle with a few locals in the afternoon. The evening will be an opportunity to share ideas on COMMUNITY-BUILDING ON SMALL BUDGETS (poster attached or visit YourTownRising.ca) It is my dream that walking tour maps of some of Puslinch’s sites will be roduced. Be sure to share your ideas.
Thursday April 11-7pm HERITAGE DESIGNATION PROCESS OPEN HOUSE-Puslinch Community Centre. Come and learn more about this process and its importance to our community.
Friday April 12-12pm is the Deadline for providing your ideas and quotes on engagepuslinch.ca for the Wellington County Destination Downtown Marketing Campaign. The County is seeking quotes about the unique features of the Township and its downtowns. These quotes can focus on Puslinch’s identity, downtown characteristics, destinations/events. A great way to support our local businesses is by sending in a recommendation to visit them, on this site. Also a great way to show off our Historic Township sites. You may have seen my engage idea on Morriston on Facebook. When you are on the engagepuslinch.ca website, I would encourage you to look at the Puslinch Heritage portal. It is a tool to engage the public in a meaningful way to educate and foster an appreciation of heritage in the Township of Puslinch. It includes a map.
Tuesday April 16-6:30pm PUSLINCH HISTORIC SOCIETY ANNUAL MEETING Brad Whitcombe room Puslinch Library. We will have a short business meeting with a few things to discuss, including the purchase of a new computer. Then we will have an opportunity to enjoy an informative PowerPoint presentation on Puslinch Geography by Betty Anderson.
