A Celebration Of Life: Muriel Mast
MAST, Muriel Jean (nee Musgrove) of Puslinch, passed away peacefully at Morriston Park Nursing Home on Thursday, July 15, 2021, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late John William Mast (2004). Loved mother of Ken (Trudy) and Rick (Deborah). Cherished grandmother of Josh Mast (Jayme), Yvonne Mast-Singleton (Dave), Gord Mast (Tiffany) and Jordan Mast (Erica). Proud Great Grandma of Emma and Alexis Singleton, Jackson Mast and Blake Mast. Muriel is survived by her sisters Florence Strachan (the late Harold), Alberta Hennan (Shane) and Patricia Beech (the late Wilfred). Dear sister-in-law to Lois Mast (the late Doug).
Predeceased by her sister Ellen Rosenburger (Frank), and siblings-in-law Jim Mast (Doreen) and Stan Mast (Beatrice). Survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews.
Muriel was hard-working, always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. More than anything, she cherished the love of family. All those hugs and little giggles made her day. Everyone seemed to know when fresh buns were out of the oven – you were welcomed in to share conversation and buns. Mom was always up for a ball game, from watching her boys play to watching her grandchildren’s games. I can’t imagine the amount of scorebooks she used. Oh, and she loved her card games, they had quite a group for many years.
Muriel was a long-time member and elder at Knox Church, Crieff. She loved singing in the choir and helping at all the functions.
Muriel was full of life, always a warm smile and a hug that made you feel at home. She lived her life with grace, kindness and love.
Heartfelt thank you to the staff at Morriston Park Nursing Home for your loving care.
A private graveside service will be held at Crieff Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Knox Church Crieff or Morriston Park Nursing Home would be appreciated.
A tree will be planted in memory of Muriel J. Mast in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
