High-Risk Offender Released In Guelph
High-risk offender Dominic Strickland-Prescod, 26, has been released from custody on bail on allegations of numerous serious Criminal Code offences that include, but are not limited to, human trafficking, sexual assault, firearms and breach of court order offences. Mr. Strickland-Prescod is considered a high risk to reoffend. He is currently residing in the Guelph community.
Public safety is our top priority. Mr. Strickland-Prescod is subject to an intensive level of supervision in the community and the Guelph Police Service will continue to monitor and enforce his court-ordered conditions. Dominic Strickland-Prescod is subject to a Release Order issued by a Justice of the Peace, and as such he is bound by numerous conditions, some of which include:
- Remain in his residence 24 hrs a day and 7 days a week with the exception of court and in the company of his surety.
- Do not operate or have care or control of a motor vehicle.
- Wear a Global Positioning System ankle monitoring system that is to be active at all times.
- Do not possess any weapons as defined by the Criminal Code
The Guelph Police Service wants the public to be aware of this individual’s presence in the community and to contact authorities if they observe Mr. Strickland-Prescod engaging in any activity that could be considered a violation of his court order.
