Optimist Club Of Puslinch Supports Trees For Tots
Recycle your Christmas trees and help your local community!
Trees for Tots is a tree collection service in Guelph, the Township of Puslinch, and the Village of Rockwood. For a minimum donation of $10 you can register your tree to be collected by one of our volunteers (on January 9th in Puslinch). Trees are collected, chipped, and returned to nature through walking trails, and other community projects.
Puslinch Optimist club partners with Guelph and Wellington Childrens Foundation to help collect and recycle your Christmas Tree. Registration is now open and this program has newly been expanded to include Puslinch and Rockwood. All moneys raised goes to children and families in Wellington County, Puslinch and Guelph areas. All trees collected will be chipped at two Puslinch chipping stations and the wood chips will be used on area trails and parks to help maintain them.
Our 2020 event collected 3,514 trees and raised $68,419 in support of the community!
