Multiple Daylight Break And Enters In Puslinch
Purse Stolen At Concession 1 Break And Enter
On July 9, 2020 at approximately 4:30 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter that occurred on July 3, 2020 at a residence on Concession 1 of Puslinch Township. The incident was reported after the fact because if wasn’t discovered until July 9, 2020.
Investigation revealed that sometime between approximately 9:15 a.m. and 10:40 a.m. on July 3, 2020, an unknown suspect entered into the residence through the open garage door and stole the victim’s purse that contained all of her identification, cash and credit cards. This theft occurred while the victim was out for a walk and her husband was working in the backyard.
This is a crime of opportunity. OPP encourage residents to keep their doors closed and locked even when at home and working outside.
Daytime Break And Enter On Watson Road
On July 19, 2020 at approximately 7:10 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a break and enter that occurred at a residence on Watson Road south in the Township of Puslinch.
Investigation revealed that sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. unknown suspect/s smashed a window and front door and gained entry into a residence. Suspects stole a quantity of property including jewelry and Canadian currency.
