September 20, 1952 – November 6, 2019.
It is with absolute sadness and shock that we announce the tragic death of Ken Scott. Soulmate and husband to Michelle and loving father to Zachary and Samuel. Beloved son of Maurice Scott, dear brother of Diane Scott, Jim Scott (Lorraine) and Debra Peel (Darrell). Ken was preceded in death by his mother, Leona Scott (Wingrove). He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins as well as by his adoring family in Sault Ste. Marie.
Proud to be born in Galt, Ken, was familiar to many as Scotty, The Legend, The Diamond Lake Avenger or simply, Kenny. He will be remembered for his undeniable love of life, his family, friends, and sports, especially hockey. He is fondly known far and wide for his quick humour, his legendary stories and his ability to light up a room.
A celebration of life for Ken will be held at Dockside, at the Old Marina Restaurant on Wednesday, November 13th from 3:00-7:00 pm.
Contributions in memory of Ken will be accepted at Jumpstart in support of sports for kids or MADD.
