Fuel Spill Pushes Mill Creek ‘to the edge,’ Residents Worry
John McNie remembers Mill Creek the way it used to be — a place where summer days could be whiled away swimming, rafting and fishing for trout in its cold, clean waters.
Today, McNie and his neighbours are worried about the creek’s future as cleanup efforts from a 50,000-litre jet fuel spill drags into a third month.
