Victim Rammed By His Stolen Pick-Up Truck In Puslinch
On Tuesday February 6, 2019 just before 6:00 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen motor vehicle that was just taken from a parking lot on Nicholas Beaver Road in Puslinch Township. The complainant reported that he observed his vehicle – a 1998 white Chevrolet 1500 pick-up truck bearing plate number AV48948 leaving the parking lot followed by a black Escalade sport utility vehicle.
The complainant and a friend followed behind the stolen truck in his friend’s vehicle. While travelling down the road the stolen pick-up stopped suddenly and reversed at a high rate of speed towards the victim and his friend. The driver attempted to turn his car and accelerate away to avoid the collision however, his vehicle was struck on the driver’s side door and C-pillar causing extensive damage. The men discontinued following the stolen truck and it was last seen travelling westbound on McLean Road.
