OPP Notes: Impaired Driver & Catalytic Converter Stolen
CONCERNED MOTORIST REPORTS IMPAIRED DRIVER
On Wednesday February 13, 2018 at approximately 5:00 p.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of an erratic driver all over the road on Brock Road near Old Brock Road.
Police located the driver of a silver sport utility vehicle and while speaking with the male driver officers formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol. A Roadside Screening Test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and brought to a local OPP Operations Centre for further testing.
31-year-old Buhendwa MUSHAMUKA of Guelph has been charged with Impaired Operation – 80 Plus. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on March 22, 2019.

CATALYTIC CONVERTER STOLEN OFF PICK-UP TRUCK
On Wednesday February 13, 2019 members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen catalytic converter off of a pick-up truck that was parked at a business on Brock Road in Aberfoyle.
OPP investigation revealed that sometime overnight unknown suspect/s entered onto the business property and removed the catalytic converter from a 2005 Ford pick-up truck that was parked at the business to be serviced. A second vehicle was also tampered with however, it does not appear that anything was taken.
