Theft And Extensive Damage Reported At Puslinch Gravel Pit
On Friday October 19, 2018 at approximately 9:30 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break, enter and theft at a gravel pit located on Concession 2 in the Township of Puslinch.
Investigation revealed that between the hours of 6:00 p.m. on October 18 – 9:30 a.m. on October 19, 2018 unknown suspect/s caused extensive damage to two gravel crushers by cutting and removing all the copper cables from the machines. A locked utility trailer was also entered and the majority of power and hand tools were stolen.
The theft is estimated at approximately $15,000 as well has caused grievous financial hardship for the property owner.
