Accolades to Aberfoyle Cross-Country Runners And Route Marshals
On October 18, fifteen of our junior cross-country runners participated in the B Division Schools autumn cross-country tournament at the Puslinch Community Center. Our runners enjoyed a successful morning. In four of the six races there were Aberfoyle team runners who finished in the top four positions. Our points total for the 9 year old boys’ race led to an Aberfoyle team win for that race. We are proud of all of our team members for their efforts, their results and their fabulous sportsmanship behaviour.
We are also grateful to all members of our grade-eight athletic council for super efforts in their roles as timers, route marshals, race rabbits, follow up turtles and finish line managers. We also thank our parent volunteers, Mrs. Thistle, Madame Duncan-Martyn and Mr. Skeoch for their coaching and supervision efforts.
Congratulations to all from the Aberfoyle School Community who helped make this year’s junior cross-country meet another successful, fun and safe event.
