Another Delicious Local Event
Elizabeth a pretend Elf on the Shelf was one of the many greeters at the Harvest and Holly United Church Bazaar held on Saturday, Nov. 18th.
As you can see from the pictures there were many objects for sale. Makayla and grandma (Jeannette) enjoyed looking at the many decorations. While Andrea and Betty, were impressed by the many types of ribbons and wreaths Candy had for sale.
At this bazaar you could buy your lunch and sit with others to catch up on the local news. Katie and Olivia were very eager to help with this project. Joan and Yvonne happily helped the girls by buying some yummy soup for such a cold day.
There were some surprise aunt visits (Megan and Eston) and great grandma visits by Grace and Olivia (great grandma Chris was helping out at the time). While at the bazaar the comment that I heard over and over was “I really don’t need anything but I really want to help the church with their outreach programs”. I can’t say it enough, this community is and continues to be very supportive of each other events! For all the seniors who were lucky enough to score a ticket for the Christmas Dinner on December 6th, you might want to dig out those blue suede shoes. If anyone has time to help out with serving on that day please give Mary Beth a call @519-822-6211 or email [email protected]
