Aberfoyle Market Minute: Apple Fritters are back!
Market Minute: Apple Fritters are back at the Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market this weekend, Saturday June 17
If you remember Aberfritters spectacularly succulent apple fritters from last season then there is good news. They are back this weekend and will be serving up those delicious pockets of deep fried apple goodness. And if you’ve never tried one of these lovely treats then there is more good news. On Saturday you can enjoy these fabulous fritters for the first time, sprinkled with your choice of cinnamon sugar, maple syrup, honey or even go rogue and have them plain. Say hello to the Moch family who are the genius behind Aberfritters. It’s a delightful way to start or top off your Aberfoyle Farmers’ Market experience.
Our busker this weekend will be Brandon Hutcheson playing lots of popular covers. Tap your toes while you enjoy the fresh air and our picnic tables, there for your convenience to take a load off, chat with friends while you sip Just a Cup local roasted coffee, or savour Tigchelaar Orchard’s muffins or cookies.
Shop the wide aisles and ask our friendly vendors about their locally grown produce and crafts. You are purchasing direct from the growers and crafters here, so take advantage to find out more about their products. Get an early start on Fathers Day and bring Dad with you. You will find lots of goodies here to treat him by finding fresh produce, meats, cheese and eggs to make him a meal, or picking up something delicious to go, and even a unique gift.
