OPP Reports: Stolen Truck & Impaired Driver In Puslinch
STOLEN TRUCK
On April 17, 2017 at approximately 1:40 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a stolen motor vehicle that had just occurred from an address on Winer Road, Township of Puslinch.
The vehicle is described as a white 2017 GMC Sierra SLT 4×4 Crew Cab bearing Ontario marker AC45257. The vehicle was parked with the keys inside it as well as ownership and insurance. The driver had stepped away for a short period of time to go into his office. The driver’s wallet with ID was also in the truck.

IMPAIRED DRIVER
On Tuesday April 18, 2017 at approximately 7:45 a.m. the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a two vehicle collision on Queen Street near Church Street, Morriston.
Police attended the scene which involved a minor collision between a Chevrolet CZT car and a Cargo Van.
While speaking with the male driver of the car officers formed the opinion that he was under the influence of alcohol. A Roadside Screening test was conducted which resulted in a fail. He was arrested and transported to a local OPP Detachment for testing.
48-year-old William POWER of Hamilton has been charged with Driving with Over 80 mgs of alcohol in 100mL of blood contrary to the Criminal Code. A 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (A.D.L.S.) and 7-day Vehicle Impoundment was initiated as per statute. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on May 12, 2017.
There were no injuries.
