A Celebration Of Life: DeKruiff, Helena (née Haugh)
Peacefully on Monday March, 14, 2016. Wife of John DeKruiff for 52 years. Mother of Nancy Coverdale and Katheryn Thompson (Wendell). Grandmother of David and Cindy Coverdale, Rachel, Melanie, Karen and Raymond Thompson. Sister of Vera Schultz (Cecil) and Gladys McDonald (Doug). Sister-in-law of Riky Timbrell (Garth), Charles Fraser and Lloyd Schultz. Predeceased by her brother, Edgar Haugh (the late Ann) and sisters, Grace Fraser and Frances Schultz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Helena grew up in Puslinch Township. Helena “Sam” was a bus driver for 45 years for many of the outlying communities of Cambridge. She was also a farmer, was involved with antique tractor shows, a cake decorator and was a member of Kirkwall Church.
Visitation at the Corbett Funeral Home, 95 Dundas St. North, Cambridge on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of the funeral home on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11 a.m.
