Council reduces spending by just $33k At Budget Meeting.
Council voted to reduce the 2016 tax levy by just $33,000 (about 1%) after tonight’s budget meeting. The only actual change in spending was the deferring of phase 2 spending on the Morriston Streetscaping project. The only other change was a unanimous vote to use reserve/surplus finds to further lower the tax increase percentage presented to the public.
