Help For Those Hit By Deadly Puslinch Barn Fire
The horse racing community was busy Wednesday rallying around those members who lost their livelihood in Monday’s devastating Puslinch barn fire that killed 43 racehorses.
In just a day, a series of crowd funding efforts had raised almost $100,000.
The main page alone at www.gofundme.com saw over 400 people donate $80,000, a figure that was rising by the minute at times on Wednesday. Other fundraising efforts were ongoing throughout the harness community.
Harness legend Bill O’Donnell said the community is a tight-knit one and everyone will do what they can to help those who lost everything in the fire. …
