Puslinch Citizens Working In Support Of Refugees
MORRISTON – In the true spirit of the season, a group of concerned Puslinch citizens has stepped forward to support Syrian refugees coming to Guelph.
With 50 families coming to the Guelph area, “We wanted to support the refugees and help them re-establish themselves in Canada,” said Bill Knetsch, who is heading up the project.
Working quickly to make it happen, arrangements have been made with local churches, Aberfoyle Public School, the township office and the library, for large bins to be on display so people can drop off gently-used clothing, household items, etc.
