McClintocks Bring Five Pan-Am Medals Home to Puslinch!
Puslinch is richer in precious metals today due to the great performances of the McClintock brother and
sister team of water-skiers, Jason and Whitney McClintock.
Whitney won gold in the Women’s Overall event yesterday and today decided a repeat was in order in
the Women’s Slalom Final. This determined young athlete then went on to win two more medals of the
silver variety in the Women’s Tricks and Jump final events.
Not to be outdone, Jason won the silver medal in the Men’s Slalom final and came fourth in the Men’s
Tricks final. His silver medal was hard fought for and narrowly missed gold, the scores were that close.
The McClintocks won more than half of the nine medals Canada won in the Waterskiing/Wakeboarding
events. Quite an accomplishment and one to be lauded and celebrated by all in our community.
Congratulations to these two amazing athletes born and raised in Puslinch. We are all proud of you!
