Puslinch Kodiaks 2015 Fastball
It’s now 2015 and the fastball season for the Puslinch Kodiaks is in full swing. With four games under their belt, the Kodiaks sit tied for second in the Golden Horseshoe Fastball league with a 3-1 record.
Last year was a very rewarding year for the Kodiaks. They played in the ISC world championships in Kitchener and also finished third in the Eastern Canadians Men’s Fastball Championship. The team also managed to play their way to a second place finish at the Tom Ryder memorial fastball tournament in Ponsonby, and also won the B-division in the annual Mitchell Mets tournament.
There are new challenges for the Kodiaks this season. This is the first year that they’re playing in the Golden Horseshoe Fastball League. With teams from Mississauga, Waterdown, Hamilton and Niagara falls. There is no doubt the team has their work cut out for them getting familiar with the new pitching and the new hitters coming to the plate.
We will be posting our scores and highlights every week on Puslinch Today, so please stay tuned!
Home games for the Kodiaks are played at the Community Center on Tuesday nights at 9 pm. Please come out and show your support for your local team and watch some great fastball.
