Optimist Club of Puslinch Free Pancake Breakfast and Fireworks
Every year on July 1, Canada Day, the Optimist Club hosts a pancake breakfast at the Puslinch Community Centre on Brock Road in Aberfoyle.
This is a wonderful morning for families to enjoy getting together with the community and have a delicious breakfast prepared and served by the Optimists themselves. The best part – it’s free!
Donations are gratefully accepted though and the proceeds go towards the Optimists continuing to do the good work they do in the community.
Pancakes with real maple syrup and other fixings, plus bacon, will be served from 9am to 11am – smiles included.
Later in the day at dusk there will be fireworks for all to enjoy at the Community Centre as well. This year they will be selling snacks and Hitchhiker Lemonade and I hear there may even be a round of Oh Canada sung to celebrate the day. The fireworks estimated time of lift off will be 9:45pm to 10pm, but I recommend getting there early.
