Introducing Puslinch Today!
Welcome to your NEW online Puslinch Information Portal!
PuslinchToday.ca is the result of collaboration between it’s founders, Daina Makinson and Kevin Johnson, and the many community contributors that helped us with our launch. We felt there was a real need for an online resource like this and we hope you agree and visit often.
Our goals are very simple: to keep our community informed of local activities and news and to promote local businesses, services and events. Between this website and our Twitter Feed we will keep you up to date with what is happening in Puslinch, Today!
While we will try to do our best to keep you updated and informed we really want the community to be involved by submitting articles of interest to the residents of Puslinch and sending us information for community events that we can add to our events calendar. The more community involvement we have, the better informed we will all be! You will also notice that most postings will allow community involvement via posting comments at the bottom of the articles. We encourage thoughtful, informative, polite dialog on our website from everyone in the community.
The most important thing you can do if you want to help us, besides contributing content, is to share share share our website with all your friends! Post to your facebook and twitter feeds and let people know we’re here.
After taking a look around the site (please! click around the menus at the top!) feel free to drop us a line on our Contact Us page and let us know what you think. This website is a living thing that will change and adapt to the needs of our community. I’d also like to take this opportunity to ask you to subscribe to our email updates – you can sign up to receive either daily, weekly or monthly updates on site postings by clicking here. We hope that everyone signs up since during emergencies such as the ice storm in December 2013 we will try to send out information via that email list as well as postings on our twitter feed and of course this website.
I hope everyone enjoys using the new site and I sincerely hope it is accepted as a valued part of our community. It has been a lot of work getting this launched but I am extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished.
Thank you,
Kevin Johnson
