Trees rising at Sunrise
PUSLINCH — Dozens of volunteers converged on a charitable equestrian centre Sunday afternoon south of Guelph to improve the pasture that riders with special needs use, through a Grand River Conservation Authority tree-planting program.
It was during a spring cleanup at the Sunrise Therapeutic Riding and Learning Centre. For the second year in a row, the conservation authority provided seven varieties of young deciduous and evergreen trees for planting along a creek that bisects the front of the 100-acre site along Puslinch Township’s Concession 1 artery.
